Since 1 January 2026 we have updated our reference populations to 3012, more than any other DNA test on the market. Thanks to YourRootsDNA ancestry reports I have discovered that apart from English ancestry I also have some Scottish and Irish! And my English regions were spot on! I really recommend their reports. My father is Oromo both paternally and maternally. My mom is Oromo in her father’s side and unknown maternal ancestry. Thanks to this analysis now I know that my mom’s maternal side is actually Saho. This report helped me confirm the ancestry of my mother’s father’s mother and their direct descendants that we were not certain about.
